A leading broker in steel byproducts for over 25 years. We purchase and prepare blast furnace iron, tundish, and pit scrap — processing to 3-foot sizes and below for remelting. Additionally, thousands of tons of mill scale has been brokered to the cement industry.
Aluminum, copper, brass, copper wire, and stainless steel purchased and prepared for remelting. Public walk-in customers welcome. Industrial accounts receive scheduled pickup service.

Chemical and metallurgical engineers on staff with hands-on expertise in blast furnaces, EAF, and BOF shops. Site visits, regular material testing, and technical guidance.

FeX Group, LLC combines over 100 years of collective experience in the Iron and Steel Industry, operating both nationally and internationally. Founded in 1998, the company has grown from a regional materials brokerage into a worldwide commodities firm serving steel mills, foundries, power plants, cement producers, wallboard manufacturers, and agricultural operations globally.
Our workforce is what sets us apart. We've brought together former senior steel mill executives, operations managers, chemical engineers, metallurgical engineers, and process specialists — people who have spent careers inside the facilities we serve.
With the opening of our Mingo Junction processing facility in 2011, we expanded from pure brokerage into material handling, processing, and preparation. The facility receives materials by truck, rail, and barge.
